Deighton

A smaller but vital stop on the route, Deighton Station has served passengers in the Huddersfield area for generations. With strong links to local industry and communities, it remains an important part of the regional rail network. Managed by Northern, it is set to benefit from modernisation works by the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) to improve accessibility and reliability.

⚠️ From 30 August 2025, Deighton station will close until 2027 while major reconstruction work takes place to the track and platforms.

An hourly rail replacement bus will call at Deighton during the closure. Customers should check their journeys before they travel at nationalrail.co.uk or on train operator websites, tpexpress.co.uk and northernrailway.co.uk
