East Garforth

One of the newer additions to the rail network, East Garforth Station opened in 1987 to serve the growing residential communities nearby. While it lacks the historic background of some of its counterparts, it plays a vital role in connecting commuters to Leeds and beyond. Managed by Northern, it is set to receive improvements as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).
