Greenfield

Located on the edge of Saddleworth, Greenfield Station is the last stop in Greater Manchester before the railway crosses into West Yorkshire. A vital link for both commuters and visitors to the area, the station has a long history of connecting local communities with the wider network. Northern manages the station, which is undergoing improvements to support increased services and reliability.

Currently, Greenfield Station is undergoing a Transport and Works Act Order (TWAO) process to obtain permission to carry out the proposed upgrade, therefore the final station design and further information will be provided as the process progresses.
