Marsden

Marsden Station, set within the stunning Pennine landscape, has been a crucial part of the railway since the 19th century. Once essential for local industry, it remains a key connection point for residents and tourists exploring the area’s rich history and natural beauty. Managed by Northern, the station is being upgraded to accommodate more frequent and faster services.

Currently, Marsden Station is undergoing a Transport and Works Act Order (TWAO) process to obtain permission to carry out the proposed upgrade, therefore the final station design and further information will be provided as the process progresses.
