Stalybridge

A station steeped in history, Stalybridge has long been a crucial interchange on the Transpennine corridor. Opened in 1845, it retains a strong railway legacy, famous for housing one of the UK’s longest-operating station buffet bars. Now managed by TransPennine Express, the station is undergoing enhancements to improve capacity and journey times.
